Recruitment

  • Welcome Everyone

First, let me say how excited we are to welcome you to this incredible journey. Whether you’ve been dreaming about joining a sorority since you were little or you’re just exploring something new, this process is about discovering who you are and where you belong.
When I joined this sisterhood, I had no idea how profoundly it would shape my college experience and my life. At its core, sorority life isn’t about the letters on our T-shirts or the pictures on Instagram. It’s about connection. It’s about finding women who will celebrate your triumphs, stand by you through challenges, and inspire you to be the best version of yourself.
In this sisterhood, we lift each other up. We are leaders, scholars, athletes, artists, dreamers, and doers. Together, we celebrate our differences and unite through shared values. Here, you’ll find opportunities to serve, to grow, to lead, and most importantly, to love and be loved unconditionally.
Delta offers a bond that goes far beyond the New Member Process. From shared late-night study sessions to celebrating each other’s milestones, Delta fosters a genuine connection that turns friendships into family. Alumni frequently mentor current members, host networking events, and maintain lifelong support systems, ensuring the bonds created here truly stand the test of time. Every sister has a genuine love for one another and a strong bond that will last a lifetime. By a lifetime, we mean not only will the friendships you develop with your sisters be among the most rewarding you will have while at Redlands, but many opportunities exist once you graduate to establish and maintain multi-generational relationships with Delta alumni.
We strongly encourage you to participate in Rush, even if you are unsure or wary about Greek Life. Rush offers an experience unlike any other and is something you will gain much from. Throughout the recruitment process, you will have the opportunity to meet women from all six sororities. These women could become your sisters, best friends, supporters, and role models.
This Rush Week is about you. It’s about discovering what makes you feel at home and where you can see yourself thriving. Be yourself, lean into the process, and trust that everything will work out exactly as it’s meant to.
To the women reading this today: You are intelligent, capable, and deserving of a sisterhood that supports you. We’re thrilled to meet you and honored to be part of this exciting chapter of your life.
No matter what letters you wear at the end of this journey, remember this: You belong, you are valued, and you have the power to make a difference—not just in your sorority, but in your community and your world. At Delta, we take pride in our contributions to the community, from impactful service projects to fostering leadership that inspires change. This is the legacy you can help build.
So, take a deep breath and embrace this moment. The path you’re about to walk is filled with opportunity, growth, and memories you’ll cherish forever.
    With Delta love and excitement,
    Maranda Benton
Delta Kappa Psi President, Spring '25
